Boris Rubinsky

As a Professor of Bioengineering and Mechanical Engineering, Boris Rubinsky has been closely associated with a number of biomedical companies, including the first cryoablation company in the U.S., Cryomedical Systems (CMS). He continues this work with ablation devices for the breast and prostate. His Site Map interest focuses on heat and mass transfer in bioengineering with particular emphasis on low temperature biology and cryosurgery, and on introducing imaging systems (such as MRI and Electrical Impedance Tomography) in the control loop of minimally invasive surgical procedures.
