Benaron is a founder of multiple biotechnology start-ups, including Spectros, FirstScan (in oncology), Xenogen (in Drug Discovery tools, went public, then acquired by Caliper, then acquired with Caliper by Perkin-Elmer for $600 million), and Insite (in oximetry and glucose monitoring, spun out to Vital Insite for Blood pressure monitoring with technology acquired by Masimo).
He has an MD from Harvard, a Health Sciences degree from MIT, and attended as a physician in Intensive Care at Stanford University Medical School. He holds over 30 US and International patents in biomedical devices, methods, and technology. He also serves on the Board at companies outside of Spectros.

Mr. Bagnatori is a former CFO who has taken multiple companies from startup, through S-1, and to IPO, including Intelligenetics. He represents the majority investors at Spectros.

Sales and Marketing
Ms. van Thillo manages sales and marketing, expanding markets across the US and EU. Growing from inception the reconstructive plastic surgery market while building on markets for critical care, vascular and GI. Her experience has come from working in Silicon Valley for over 20 years.
William Curnan, PhD
Mr. Curnan is an experienced operations officer, with extensive experience in US and foreign medical device operations and a strong background in regulatory compliance. His experience includes extensive oximetry manufacturing and regulatory projects.
